Insurance

North Fulton Psychiatric Care, P.C. does not accept insurance with the exception of Medicare. Patients are expected to pay at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. However, most patients with PPO or POS coverage have some out-of-network coverage for office appointments.

We will provide you the form needed to submit a claim to your carrier, if you so choose. If Medicare is your primary coverage, we will file with Medicare.


Prescription Refills

We request that you contact the office or your pharmacy when you need a refill of a prescription. You may leave the information on our voice mail including your name and birth date, name and dosage of medication, quantity requested, instructions for taking the medication, and the name and phone number of your pharmacy.

Please leave a phone number for us to call you, if needed. If a prescription has to be handwritten, please leave word on our voice mail if you plan to pick up the prescription or need to have it mailed to you. Messages are checked periodically throughout the day; however, we ask that you request prescriptions to be filled Monday through Friday. Please allow 24 hours for handling refills. Prescriptions requested on the weekend may not be filled until the following business day.
